Job Purpose
- The job holder develope and executes necessary analytics strategy to align and drive the objective and key results of the bank.
- The job holder create new ways to use and monetize data through entire bank.
- The job holder lead và manage a team structured with data analysts và data scientists.
- The job holder innovate and iterate an agile, collaborative data culture that enables and empowers analytics while creating new business capabilities that provide measurable and actionable improvements to the customer, employee and shareholder experience.
Key Accountabilities (1)
- Build strong internal and external relationships with a focus on innovating for the future and driving deliverables for these innovations.
- Evangelize the importance of strong data products and innovation with internal and external partners.
- Drive industry partnership opportunities for Business Development strategy by identifying opportunities and executing them.
- Partner with internal technology and business leaders to identify, develop and execute new data opportunities.
- Foster a culture that drives futuristic ideas, enrichment strategies and growth.
- Examine market trends to drive strategies for the organization to remain competitive.
- Understand business strategy and objectives and translate them into data requirements.
- Have feature engineering standardized across the organization for analytical purposes.
- Have tangible outputs measurable, in terms of dollar value. (PvàL targets).
- Work with “unknown unknowns” – Provide business insights from unorganized and unlinked data.

Project Management
- Manage project conflicts, challenges and dynamic business requirements to keep operations running at high performance.
- Work with team leads to resolve people problems and project roadblocks, conduct post mortem and root cause analyses to improve practices for maximum productivity.
Key Accountabilities (3)
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
- Oversee human resources planning and execution (headcount & costs) of their function
- Attract, onboard and retain the right talents for a high- performing team
- Establish and communicate function and individual KRAs/ KPIs, goals, action plan, expectations and results to reporting line
- Manage function performance & provide feedback regularly (following the annual performance management cycle);
- Define team’s capability requirements and enable team member’s professional and personal development through capability assessment, training, coaching & feedback, mentoring, etc.
- Motivate and recognize team members’ contributions towards the team’s shared goals
- Identify and monitor personal, professional development and career advancement of talents in the function
- Act as a role model and promote corporate culture at function level
- Understand & communicate relevant HR offerings to team members.
Success Profile - Qualification and Experiences
Qualifications
- Phd or Master’s degree in statistics, mathematics or quantitative analysis
- Background in Machine Learning and model building
Work Experience
- 14 years of relevant experience in areas of data analysis, machine learning, deep learning model development on large amount of data, implementing and deploying various statistical models and more 10 year of people management experience.
- Deep experience in programming languages (e.g. C, C++, R, Python, Scala, SQL, Java, Tableau, R)
- Strong technical background in numerical sciences, proven track record in managing data products within fintech industry and executive presence to drive change through the organization
- Proven track-record in leading company-wide digital transformation initiatives and change management
- Mastery in Data và Analytics and is an industry expert on the latest data-related technology trends
