Expert, Data Translator (40001499)

Job Purpose

- The job holder is responsible for directly consulting and analyzing complicated requirements from business, process and data perspectives from varios business units, ensuring complete and effective transformation of business requirements into data requirements specification.
- The job holder will be responsible for exploring a variety of banking systems, bankwide data platforms and analytical tools to provide timely, meaningful and consumable information to internal stakeholders as well as the team.

Key Accountabilities (1)

A. Reporting & Documentation

- Figure out the effective methods to evaluate, analyze & find out technical data requirements.
- Make sure analyzed data requirements align with Bank-wide data model 
- Advise senior, junior members in creating, analyzing and validating detailed data requirement specifications
- Work with stakeholders to identify and implement data enrichment throughout the enterprise

B. Research & Analysis

- Stay up-to-date on Data & Cloud technology changes, shifting trends, and analyze internal data sets to provide holistic information to stakeholders.
- Identify and interpret trends and terms from data sets and build forecasts and recommendations based on business data.
- Evaluate requirements for data gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and build translation models for the Enterprise/ Banking Data Platform

C. Managing Stakeholders

- Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities and process improvements by leveraging organization data to drive business solutions. 
- Identify and communicate to stakeholders the insights from opportunities and obstacles perspectives based on data gathered, analysted
- Coordinate with the professional unit to validate the development, customized results, to ensure that the solution meets the requirements agreed with the business unit from Data perspective.
- Participate in training courses, seminars, workshops from internal / external to absort knowlege, trends, solutions... then evaluating to apply inside the bank.

Success Profile - Qualification and Experiences

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Information Systems, Banking and Finance or relevant fields.
- 10+ years’ experience in IT Business Consultant / Business Analyst
- 10+ years' experience in Financial Institutions with Data warehousing and reporting
- 7+ years' experience with Cloud Platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) & with 5+ years' on AWS
- Experience working on multiple projects at the same time
- Experience writing SQL queries and using data visualization tools and techniques
- Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in Agile Product Development and a good understanding of Agile principles and practices as well as Scrum methodologies
- Experience working in Agile teams to manage digital transformation projects
