Job Purpose
The job holder is responsible for creating and implementing data strategies and products that support the bank's new initiatives and segments. The job holder will lead the data division in generating revenue through both business-as-usual operations and innovative projects. Additionally, the job holder will establish partnerships to develop joint products leveraging data insights. The role involves designing and deploying end-to-end data products, including data flow connections, machine learning models, and actionable insight dashboards. The job holder will help the business understand the implications of data-driven insights, identify key trends and triggers in the decision-making process, and enhance overall performance management to improve customer value and operational efficiency.
Key Accountabilities (1)
Monetarize Data
- Leverage customer data to develop tailored financial products and services, such as customized loan options and investment portfolios, enhancing customer satisfaction and driving revenue growth.
- Utilize customer insights to create targeted marketing strategies that effectively reach potential clients, improving engagement and conversion rates while maximizing marketing ROI
- Establish partnerships with third parties to create anonymized data insights, such as consumer behavior trends, which can provide additional revenue streams while maintaining customer privacy.
- Implement AI and machine learning algorithms to analyze data for predictive analytics, fraud detection, and customer service enhancements, creating value-added services that customers are willing to use.
- Understand data requirements from within and outside the Division and analyze needs of the business while assisting senior members within the Division in developing technical requirements.
- Communicate and align with stakeholders on the purpose and impact of analytical solutions on business Data Insight

Data Strategy
- Establish robust data analysis frameworks to capture new data to serve the strategy of the bank. This includes defining data ownership, access protocols, and usage policies, which are essential for building trust and maximizing the value of data assets
- Utilize advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to extract actionable insights from data. By analyzing customer behavior and market trends, organizations can identify new revenue opportunities, optimize pricing strategies, and enhance product offerings tailored to customer needs.
- Form strategic partnerships that allow for data sharing and collaboration. By combining data with external partners, businesses can co-create innovative products and services, expand their market reach, and enhance customer experiences, ultimately driving additional revenue streams.

- Coach team members on tools, technologies and methodologies for BI and analytics and support capability development of team as Business Intelligence analysts/experts.

Success Profile - Qualification and Experiences
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Risk Management, Statistics, Mathematics or Quantitative Analysis
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in areas of data analysis, reporting and planning, problem solving for business
- Experience in querying databases and using programming languages (R, Python, Scala, SQL)
- Experience in building reporting with actionable intelligence
- Experience in communicating complex analysis and models across a diverse team
- Experience in data management, ETL and analysis functions
- Experience with data analysis and BI tools such as Tableau, QlikView, Spark
- Deep understanding on Information Security principles to ensure compliant handling and management of data
- Experience in leading activities, projects, teams
- Experience in Agile Software Development or working in Agile teams to support transformation
