Director, Business Development (40000612)
Job Purpose
The job holder is responsible for manage and take full responsibility for the business development through the customer consulting channels of Division through:
- Make the Business plan, KPI, Incentive for sales force;
- Design and implement business programs and campaigns in all sales channels;
- Organize business promotion activities through execution teams in each Region.
Key Accountabilities (1)
Strategy and plan:
- Define development strategies (short and long term) for the channels.
- Plan policies for channels to meet customer needs, minimize channel costs and optimize the Bank's operational efficiency in accordance with selected CVP.
- make the sales planning; business targets; execution plan for channels.
- Plan business campaigns and programs across all channels
Key Accountabilities (2)
Business management:
1 Manage the performance of sales and services of the branches / sales force:
- Develop and allocate business plan / KPI of retail banking segment to Areas / Center / Region / Branches / sales force / sales support force.
- Monitor, and manage the KPI implementation of retail banking segment of the Region / Center / Region / Branches.
- Evaluate and measure KPI / incentive, communicate the results of periodic KPI evaluation of the Area / center / region / branches.
- Develop and implement detailed business solutions, tools and programs based on the orientation of the business program framework by customer segments and products, in order to promote the efficiency of the Area / Center / Region / branch / sales force / sales support force ..
- Optimize the effectiveness of each channel; assess the transaction transition status through different channels, giving the transition trend between channels to ensure the overall efficiency of the Division.
2. Support to promote business results at branches:
- Manage the forces of sales stimulation execution to promote sales, ensuring efficiency and consistency in the process of implementing sale promotion activities in regions and branches.
- Design and implement sales promotion programs, optimize the performance of sales channels /sales force to meet customer needs, in line with selected CVP.
- Build the tools, sales management system through the application of best practices in sales consulting and management of retail customer segment.
- Synchronously deploy standards, models, processes, management tools and sales promotion to achieve high sales performance while ensuring service quality and customer satisfaction before / during / after sale.
3. Corporate culture
- Ensuring the management at the unit in accordance with 3 principles: fairness, transparency and respect
- Make sure to set an example in building corporate culture
- Ensure the correct and full implementation of corporate culture implementation plans; Employees to understand and apply consistently corporate culture values, behavioral norms
4. Perform other related tasks as requested by line manager

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
- Oversee human resources planning and execution (headcount và costs) of their function/ sub- function
- Attract, onboard and retain the right talents for a high- performing team
- Establish and communicate sub- function/ function and individual KRAs/ KPIs, goals, action plan, expectations and results to reporting line
- Manage sub- function/ function performance và provide feedback regularly (following the annual performance management cycle)
- Define team’s capability requirements and enable team member’s professional and personal development through capability assessment, training, coaching và feedback, mentoring, etc.
- Motivate and recognize team members’ contributions towards the team’s shared goals
- Responsible for developing talents within the function/ sub- function
- Act as a role model and promote corporate culture at function/ sub- function level
- Understand và communicate relevant HR offerings to team members.

Success Profile - Qualification and Experiences
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Arts in Economics / Finance / Banking / Marketing / Business Administration
- Priority given to having a master's degree or higher
'Domain expertise:
- At least 12 years of working experience in a similar position (related to sales, management and sales promotion in the banking and finance sector for the retail segment)
- Minimum 6 years of management experience
- Foreign language: minimum TOEIC 405
