On July 1st 2020 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank) was honored with the Award "Best Place to work for in Asia 2020" by HR Asia Magazine - the leading and prestigious magazine on HR at Asian region. Techcombank was honored to receive this prestigious award for the first time attending.
"Best Place to work for in Asia - HR Asia Awards" is an internationally prestigious award organized to evaluate and honor businesses with outstanding personnel policies, attractive remuneration, leading working environment and regularly organizing exciting internal activities to engage employees. In Vietnam, Techcombank excellently overcame 308 records of domestic enterprises / organizations participating in HR Asia's independent evaluation and selection program to win the award "Best Place to work for in Asia".
At the first round of profile selection, the HR Asia research department conducted an independent research on the reputation of 308 Vietnamese companies with outstanding working environments. In the second round, HR Asia used the TEAM (Total Engagement Assessment Model) model to survey the satisfaction of staff members based on three factors: Core (strategy - structure), Self ( individuals) and Group (collectives). This model provides an overall and complete view, not only at the engaging level of an individual employee, but also judging how each team or department connects together in different situations. Outperforming many competitors, the survey results show that the average score of Techcombank across all 3 categories is higher than the average of the entire Asian business market. Specifically, the Core score is 4.29 compared to the industrial average of 3.67, the Self score is 4.47 compared to that of 3.82 and the Group score is 4.57 compared to 3.91 points. In the third round, HR Asia conducted an assessment through face-to-face interviews with HR leaders in companies to better understand policies and working environment, to make decisions which business deserves to receive this honorable award "Best Workplace in Asia ''. After three rounds of evaluation, Techcombank excellently overcame the competitors to achieve this noble title.
